Dan Auluk is an artist living and working in Birmingham, UK.
Auluk's art practice is interested in creating situations that disrupt and displace how we may experience art. Experimenting with text, spoken word, sound, video, performance, participation and intervention, manifesting as live art collaborative performances. This live art attempts to blur the boundaries between artist and audience; exploring alternate ways of activating spaces and audiences.
G R A S S L A N D S is an independent outdoor artist run space in Selly Oak, Birmingham, UK. Currently in hibernation.
The space was open to creative makers and thinkers at any stage of their career, to enable them to make, explore, experiment and collaborate with others. All participants were encouraged to step outside their usual creative practice to consider alternative approaches to contemporary art making and discover potential new ways of working, producing and displaying art.
